Welcome to Privacy Display Screen Guard (developed by Novagya Tech) ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

The core functionality of Privacy Display Screen Guard operates locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to our servers.

However, the App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Automatically Collected Information by Third-Party Services

We use third-party advertising services (Google AdMob and Facebook Audience Network) to support the App. These services may collect:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID).

3. How We Use Permissions

To provide its core features, the App requests specific Android permissions. We use these permissions strictly for the intended functionality and do not use them to harvest your data.

• Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): This is the core permission required for the App to function. It allows the App to apply a privacy filter or screen guard over your screen to prevent others from viewing your device. We do not monitor, record, or capture your screen content or keystrokes.
• Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE): This permission ensures that the privacy screen guard remains active continuously until you choose to turn it off.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to display a persistent notification allowing you to easily control (enable/disable) the privacy filter from your notification drawer.
• Run at Startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) & Exact Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Used to automatically resume your scheduled privacy screen sessions after your device restarts or at specific times you configure.
• Internet & Network State: Required to load and display advertisements from our third-party ad networks.
• Vibrate: Used to provide haptic feedback when interacting with the App's controls.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Since we do not collect or store your personal data on any external servers, all data related to your preferences and scheduled alarms remains locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App's storage/cache in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

5. Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
